- Plan goods moving sequence with your movers.
- Remember to snacks before you move
- Defrost the fridge a day before you move.
- Clean your stove before your move out.
- Try to pack all electric/electronic equipment, like stereos in their original boxes. Otherwise use bubble wrap when packing these item.
- Pack important and sentimental documents separately to be easily accesible.
- Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same box.
Boxes & Packaging :
- Do not use boxes without tops. No tops make it impossible to stack in the truck
- Always tape boxes. Do not interlock the tops.
- Use only small boxes for books. They get very heavy, very fast.
- Remember : the heavier the item, the smaller the boxes should be.
- Never use duct tape - use packing tape.
- Clearly label all boxes on top and side.
- Always stack dishes upwards when packing.
